Sunshine, Angel, and Firefly

What's new, honeydew???

A birthday wish to my sunshine, Paulo. My best friend is 24 years old today.

My very good friend from high school is PREGNANT! Woohooo Jess!

Online Statistics, my last monkey class, is going pretty well. I feel a little ignored by the professor, but at least it seems that he's an equal opportunity ignore-r.

Application for Nursing School is waiting on recommendation from summer professor (who has the form and should be writing! right! now!).

I finished Angel. Sigh. H&B's latest DVD series they've pushed on me? Firefly. Not bad. Not bad at all. And I don't even like cowboys. After this, I will have finished about 10 years of Joss TV in less than a year. This from the girl that doesn't like tv. Just tv on dvd.

I've been getting up extra early the past two weeks. I even went to Yoga last week at 9am!! And considered this week, but watched tv on dvd instead. Oh well. Next week!

Having roommate issues. More specific, one roommate won't pay on time, but had money to spend a month in Thailand last month. Hmph. He has till 10/5.

I need a new Bank. I HATE M-N-T. It's between Bank of (businesses and adulthood) America or Chevy (I own DC area) Chase. They both have about the same fees and more flexible hours than m-n-t (I HATE YOU) which is the whole point of the bank switch. BOA gives $50 to new customers, CC has atms EVERYWHERE. Opinions?

Night night for now. I'm bar-egg-tending in the am and have mucho griping to do. Need rest. Smooch smooch.

HERE I AM!!!!

First of all, for the two lovely women that are soooooo intent on finding themselves written about on this blog (that I wrote A YEAR AGO): Voila. I'm sorry it's not quite the dish that I can only imagine it was worked up to be. Try not to have a 3 hour meeting about it, m'kay?

Second, I must remind everyone that I write for myself. I don't write to gain readership in the blog world. I don't write to make anyone feel bad. I have the option to keep my blog private and I don't; I allow my closest friends and family the opportunity to see what lingers on my brain because I will be the first to admit that I am no good at sharing feelings unless I do so with you on a daily basis. If you are here without me giving you the link, be prepared to see things that maybe you don't want to see or that you don't understand because, well... we are not friends. I refuse to apologise for what I was feeling a year ago. If you don't like what I say here, DONT READ IT. Or leave nasty comments that I will just ignore, but maybe that will make you feel better. Or get your own blog, and then you can be grumpy with me to your hearts content. until. the. end. of. time.

Now, business as usual for people that actually care what's going on in my life rather than trying to dredge up old shit...

I found the boy I want to marry last night. Yes, I know what you're thinking, I find "the boy" at least once a month. I am smitten and just sharing. I barely know his name. And that he likes Yuengling and calamari. No knowledge of gf/s or sexual preference. Just that he has great bouncy hair and a fantastic smile. Hurray that he wasn't scared away by my sick grumpiness. OH! And the best part, he was born in the 70s. My new requirement for boys.

I am getting over a nasty cold (cross fingers, not just hiding in remission until the weekend to kick my ass again). Other than working Monday night (and almost sinking into coughing coma), I've been sitting on my ass at H&B's watching their cats and their lovely dvr. I watched Buffy the movie tonight. Hee. I forgot how much I loved that movie. Seeing Paul Reubens die the longest death ever was AWESOME.

I'm so sad to hear about Steve Irwin. Gosh, I loved that man and his show. His energy was fantastically exhausting and I can' t believe that he's gone.

Talked to mom tonight, seems as though my brother is Smitten with a CAPITAL S. The girl has a car, a job, and I watched her talk my brother into doing something my father told him to do earlier. I could not ask for more. Sniff sniff.

Saw Lil Miss Sunshine last week with Mon Cheri. Loved it. Laughed, cried, then started yelling WTF?!?!? at the screen. Went to Clydes and was unimpressed with service and food, other than oysters. Bah. Enjoyed time with my old friend.

To bed I go!
